Dead or Alive Ring

Good, solid piece of jewelry!

After perusing the catalog (and ordering the Alisee Cross ring), I decided on this ring to balance out my hands (Hey, I'm a Libra, we like balance). Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size (too small), and ended up sending the ring back for an exchange. I was contacted by customer service (I forget whom I spoke with) to confirm the ring size that I wanted, and was informed that my replacement ring would be sent out the next day. (Kudos to the CS department!) After I received the replacement ring, I was eager to try it on, and it fit like a glove! This is a heavy piece of jewelry, and you can see the quality inherent in the design and execution. I did not notice it from the picture, but the ring itself is designed to look like a holster with the belt wrapped around your finger, and not just a pistol and holster on a ring. The backside of the ring is narrower than the front, which makes for comfortable wear (unlike some other rings that I have owned). The front side of the ring runs from the top knuckle to the middle knuckle on my index finger, so hopefully this will give you an indicator of the size of the ring... and trust me, this ring gets attention! I have already received several compliments on it. One caution that I should mention: This is a large, solid, silver ring. It will heat up in the sun. Not enough to burn, or even get uncomfortable, but enough to notice, like it is reminding you that it is still there.

The only downside (and reason for only giving it 4 stars) was that the dark "wash" in the photos that makes the lettering stand out is not present on my ring. Rather, the entire ring is one "shade" of silver. Still nice, still keeping it, still wearing it, but the ring does not match the photo.
